SEA TO SKY BATTLE OF THE BANDS is an annual talent competition to assist emerging Sea to Sky musicians in gaining performance experience and opportunities to take their music to the next level.

Winner: FOGON – SQUAMISH
Fogon (Spanish for “bonfire”) hails from Squamish, where guitarist/vocalist Evan Captain and drummer Brad Klees are students at Quest University Canada, though both members originally hail from Washington State. Fogon draws musical influence from its members’ lengthy world travels, as well as the Seattle music scene. Fogon has been together for one year, but already has recorded an impressive amount of material. Listen to their songs here:

Runner Up: ERIC J ROBBINS – PEMBERTON
Eric’s band, Transmission Party, took the Audience Choice Award in 2007 with standing ovations. In 2010 Eric is back as solo artist with “hick folk” tunes to rock the house.
